Expanding Love: A Simple Meditation for Self and Others

Self-love grows when we extend it beyond ourselves. Loving-kindness meditation allows you to cultivate compassion for yourself and those around you.

Try this meditation:

  1. Sit quietly, close your eyes, and focus on your heart.
  2. Silently repeat:
    • May I be happy. May I be healthy. May I be at peace.
  3. Extend this wish to loved ones and even those you struggle with.
  4. Feel the warmth of love expanding beyond you.
