Have you ever had so much energy that instead of feeling powerful, you started feeling restless or overwhelmed?
Today may feel a little like that.
There is a remarkable concentration of 8 energy, together with 9, which can bring a tremendous sense of power and intensity.
We can sometimes see intense energy reflected in the world around us too — through extreme weather, fire, powerful water, storms or other events in nature.
This isn't a prediction that something will happen today, and it isn't something to be afraid of.
It is an invitation to be aware.
Because what happens outside can also be a mirror for what happens inside.
A tsunami can remind us of an emotional wave that suddenly feels bigger than we are.
Fire can remind us of anger, frustration, passion or pressure that has become difficult to contain.
Just as we respect powerful forces of nature, today asks us to respect the amount of energy moving through us.
Having more energy doesn't automatically mean you need to do more.

What am I doing with the energy I have?
If you notice yourself becoming restless, impatient, overwhelmed or under pressure, don't automatically add more action.
Slow down.
Breathe long and deep.
Feel your feet on the ground and bring yourself back into your center.
Then notice where your energy is going.
What are you feeding with your attention?
What are you giving your life force to?
What do you actually want to create?
Energy becomes powerful when it has conscious direction.
Stay aware of your surroundings. Stay aware of yourself.
You don't need more power today. You need to manage the power that is already there.
