  • Inhale for 5 counts; exhale for 5 counts, full, relaxed and steady

  • Continue for 5 minutes to calm and center

One-Minute Breath

  • Deeply inhaling and exhaling for one uninterrupted minute

  • A simple daily reset—use at the start of day or before a big decision

🔹 4. Practical Exercise to Face Fear

August asks us to stand in presence—not avoidance. Here’s a simple exercise to embody courage:

  1. Close your eyes and breathe deeply for 11 breaths

  2. Bring to mind something you’re avoiding or afraid of—it could be a decision, conversation, or feeling

  3. Visualize yourself speaking or acting from calm, steady breath and clear intention

  4. End with the affirmation: “I face my fear with breath and grace.”

  5. Take 3 more breaths and continue with your day

Repeat this daily for 7 days and journal any shifts in perception or energy.
