Poem for July: Where the Waters Know Your Name
Share
According to the wisdom of Akara Numerology, the energy of July is guided by the number 7—a deeply intuitive, sensitive, and introspective force that mirrors the flow and depth of water.
It’s a time to pause.
To soften.
To feel.
The energy of the 7 asks us to go inward before we go outward. It calls us to reflect, to release, and to return to what is essential and healing—our breath, our presence, our truth.
This month offers us the opportunity to wash away what no longer belongs, to allow our emotional waters to be stirred without shame, and to hold ourselves in tender awareness.
This poem is an invitation to enter that space.
Let it guide you like a gentle current, back to yourself.
Where the Waters Know Your Name
Let it rise—
the quiet ache you buried
beneath deadlines,
in conversations where you smiled
but didn’t speak.
Let it rise—
the grief that moved in like weather
and never fully passed,
the song you didn’t finish writing,
the love you almost gave.
Let July be the tide
that meets your feet with forgiveness.
Let it be the lake
where your reflection softens again.
You don’t need to be perfect.
You only need to pause.
To listen.
To let your breath
melt the edges of your old armor.
This is the month
the soul remembers water.
Let it wash you
into your next beginning.
You are not lost.
You are learning to float.
This poem is part of a series of monthly inspirations based on Akara Numerology and the teachings of Kundalini Yoga. It's here to offer reflection, softness, and a sacred pause.
